Upon receipt of your LGV Medical and Provisional Licence Application Form. The next step is to book a Medical; this can be with your doctor or contact your local medical centre. You also need to complete the D2 Application form, ensure that you enclose a photo if required and also ticking box ‘C’. If you plan on taking your PCV test then also tick box ‘D’. Send both forms and your driving licence and fee to the DVLA. You should receive your Provisional Licence within a week.

Please call us now for an information pack plus all the forms you require.

Applying for your test

Now you can call us for your Assessment. Assessments are without obligation, they enable us to inform you how many days we anticipate you will require in order to pass your test.

After your assessment your instructor will discuss the type of courses available. The instructor will also inform you about the theory test, how long the test takes and where you can take it.

Once you have decided to book a course please contact us to arrange a date. Please consider the date you wish to take your theory test as well as the dates for your driving course. All theory tests have a ‘same day result’. The test is in two parts, one part multiple choice and the other hazard perception. You will need to pass the theory test before you take the driving test.

Once you have passed your Category C driving test you are able to start your Category C+E training if required. The minimum time between passing your Category C driving test and starting your C+E training is two weeks, this will enable you sufficient time to have your licence upgraded to a full Category C and have the provisional entitlement put on the C+E by the DVLA.

We will provide full training
and booking of your tests.
