LGV COURSES

C - ANY LGV VEHICLE (HGV 2/3)

Any LGV vehicle but not articulated or drawbar trailers. The course is suitable for most trainees whose only experience might be a car / light van or 7.5 tonne vehicle.

Minimum Age: 21

You must have first passed the Category B test (car).

You must then a apply for a Provisional LGV Licence (see notes on applying for licence).

Before you can take the Category C driving test you must have passed the LGV theory test.

You do NOT need to pass Category C1 before learning to drive a Category C

Normal Duration: 3-5 Days

Course Includes: Use of tachographs, drivers hours
